The Bath Building Society are a local independent building society, dedicated to providing their members with a plain old fashioned service that is both flexible and responsive.
The Bath Building Society's aim is to provide a range of mortgage and savings products suiting varying needs, whilst also supporting the communities in which they operate.
The cornerstone of the Bath Building Society's approach for the future has been to emphasise the personal service, and their ability to meet the often varied requirements of it's members, especially in the development of niche propositions within the lending and savings markets, where the Bath Building Society have seen features in "Best Buy" tables for both mortgages and savings in recent years.
In a nutshell, the Bath Building Society's members are not simply numbers, that are not ruled by computers, call centres and "customer relationship software". They appear to know that their members would rather talk to a real person than an automated voice message, and equally benefit from a relationship with a real person as opposed to a computer.
The Bath Building Society's History
2004 : The Society achieved recognition for its support of local charitable and community organisations through the award of the Bath Chronicle Business Award for our "Contribution to the Community".
2006 : Winner of the Mortgage Finance magazine awards - "Innovator of the year award...Regional and Local Lender"
2007 : Winner of the Mortgage Finance magazine awards - "Innovator of the year award...Regional and Local Lender"
2007 : The past two years have seen major investment in the overall business, with the introduction of innovative systems and processes designed to ensure that the Society is managed to the highest standards with continued professionalism for the interests of members.
